I am originally from Bradford and attended school locally at Beckfoot before moving to Stoke-on-Trent to study Physiotherapy at Keele University. Upon completing my degree in 2017 I moved back to the area and I have worked at the The Bingley Physiotherapy Practice alongside a full time NHS Physiotherapist role ever since.
I have a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries, however I also have experience working in critical care, community rehabilitation, intermediate care, cardiac rehabilitation and respiratory physiotherapy.
Since I was a student at Keele University, I have always been a keen and active member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and in 2019 I decided to take on the new challenge of becoming CSP Steward and Representative within my NHS role.
Within my somewhat limited spare time I enjoy going to the gym and running along the canal… which I like to balance out with eating copious amounts of cheese and chocolate!
My qualifications are as follows:
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, First class Honours, University of Keele (2017)
- Sports taping (2016)
- Kinesio taping (2016)
- Foundation Acupuncture (2018)
