I have always wanted to work in an environment where I can help people. Being able to help reduce pain and improve movement is a great way of impacting people’s daily lives. I started working at The Bingley Physiotherapy Practice in the summer of 2019.
I’ve had experience working in sports clubs and have seen a wide variety of injuries. Currently my main sporting work is within Amputee Football. I work with Manchester City Amputee Football Team and the England Amputee Football National Team. Providing treatments, assessments, pitch-side medical cover and injury rehabilitation/prevention. It is so rewarding and has improved my knowledge base as no one player is the same and is a population I love working with
I am able to offer injury assessments and treatments as well as 1-on-1 or group rehabilitation and injury prevention classes. Injury prevention is so important in both amateur and elite sport. And it always feels better when you can prevent an injury occurring.
In my life
I enjoy most sports, with my main interests being in basketball and football and I play basketball every week. I have had the opportunity to work in several different clubs across various sports and have enjoyed every new challenge each sport brings to the job.
Some of my qualifications
- BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation, First Class Honours, Bolton University (2019)
- Pitch-side Immediate Care in Sport, (Level 2), RFU qualification.
