My background for the last five years has been working as a personal trainer, specializing in strength and conditioning for endurance and team sports Athletes, with a special interest in proprioception and core stability for optimal sporting performance. I have worked with a variety of abilities from complete beginner to elite level athletes helping them to reach their goals and targets no matter how big or small.
I also take great pleasure working with and helping those from every day walks of life and just want relief from pain that may occur in everyday life. As a Sports and Exercise Therapist, I have worked in both a clinical rehabilitation setting and with performance athletes to prevent and rehabilitate injuries, I am passionate about working with patients to help them perform and rehabilitate to their best ability, whether this is in a recreational or sporting environment.
In my treatments I take pride in not only treating the injuries, but also working with you as a person so that I can better get to know how you function and work. This approach helps us to work together as a team and get you back to a pain free living. I offer musculoskeletal appointments and treatments as well as sports massage, tailored prehabilitation/rehabilitation and injury prevention classes
Outside of work I like to race in both triathlons and bike racing and have been fortunate enough to represent Great Britain as both an amateur and and elite triathlete. For the 2020 season my focus will the British 12-hour mountain bike championships, so you might see me riding around Bingley on my mountain bike getting muddy while having a big smile on my face.
