COVID-19 Update 17th March

COVID-19 Update 17th March

Considering the most recent announcements concerning COVID-19, I would like to update all our clients on the current situation at the practice.

We are contacting all clients that are in the high-risk groups – over 70’s, those with other underlying health conditions, or pregnant women, to discuss alternative options for treatment other than face to face.

Following the government guidelines, we ask anybody with a new persistent cough or temperature to remain at home for 14 days. This also applies to other members of your family that you live with. Please listen to advice and stay away if you feel unwell, that way we can ensure the safety and well being of all our clients. Please get in touch to advise us as soon as possible. We will not be applying our cancellation charges in these cases.

If you have travelled outside the UK, or have been in touch with anyone who has, then please contact us prior to your appointment and we can decide the best course of action regarding your treatment. Please get in touch to advise us as soon as possible. We will not be applying our cancellation charges in these cases.

Unfortunately, we are no longer offering home visits until further notice.

Within the actual practice we are taking the following steps to stop the spread of COVID-19 By:-

Wiping Down and Disinfecting Tables and Hard Surfaces

Regular Hand Washing  – We continue to follow the guidelines on handwashing on entering the building and between all clients and cleanliness in the reception.-

Cleaning Door Handles

Please do your part by using the hand sanitiser when you arrive and leave the practice.

It is our priority to keep you safe and well during this time whilst maintaining a service to the community.
